I thought to myself in the restroom.
(I've got nothing to prove this power is what gets me dragged into all that mess though?)
I reminisced what transpired so far as I composed myself. Then I arrived at one conclusion.
"The village drove me out because of this 'Black Clad' business. But... If by any chance those troubles still would have come my way even if I had Blessing, then?"
I'd have hit the wall much earlier on. Not like I'm not bashing my head against a wall now. I mean, what's with the 'power of god' thing and all.
What can my low intellect hope to accomplish with that?
At best, I'd use this power to indulge on my desires.
(Hm? Haven't I been doing that already? Oh? What's the deal?)
After thinking it through, there's really nothing that differentiate the me before and after learning about all this godly power business.
I'm guessing Binota's story is close to the truth.
Meaning I can't overturn this situation regardless as I lack the means.
I'm effectively deadlocked.
But if there's a slightest possibility of sealing this power away, a way to quell the 'unrest' state I'm suffering, then I could make it into a goal in my journey.
This cheered me up a tad.
"Alright, you good if I ask you something?"
I threw that to Binota once I got back.
"So, is there a way to seal this 'Power'?"

The question was exceedingly simple. My hope was mercilessly dashed by what came out of his mouth.
"Eh? I've never heard about that idea nor is it written anywhere. You're amazing! It's true that they have passages about sealing a god, therefore that question would naturally pop up. You're thinking out of the box!"
He got excited like a child in a candy store in contrast with me.
It's already nearing dusk even though it's still bright outside.
I've spent quite some time in this house.
Binota finally noticed this when the maid asked, 'How would you like dinner be?'
"Ah. Please stay overnight here. You'll accept of course, right? Ah, Mary, do we have enough for uncle?"
Captain came in and declined.
"No, I'm returning to my station. I've got plenty of work left. So many reports to tackle on too. Besides..."
He turned his sight at me before muttering, 'Should be fine'.
"Oh then, I'll see you off. Ah, and you're staying of course, aren't you? There's so many things I need to ask you."
I don't want to look for an inn at this hour. And considering griffon, this place is the best accommodation I could ask for tonight.
And thus, captain tiptoed around the still sleeping griffon in the courtyard as he made his exit.
"It's dinner time. Feel free to join, Mary cooks the best food, just you know."
'Then how are you so thin, eat more' or so I wanted to retort but I thought better and took up on his offer.
