Bare Handed Rampage
Several hours since I started dungeon diving.
I finally reached Floor 10, I'm about halfway there if we only consider number of floors.
But Floor 15 is where the real thing begin, so it's like I haven't even started in reality.
Oh, a treasure chest! Wonder what's inside.
Tch, it's just an Adamant sword (ATK+300). Lame.
You may ask why am I not happy getting an item that's not a bean, but this stuff is only good as a trade item.
I mean, the swords Alma and Hero-kun have on them are better.
I'd like another bean, that green acorn-like one.
Eh, didn't I have enough of beans? Turns out that was a super valuable item.
[Whimsical Seed], an item that gives a permanent +5 stat boost to one random Attribute.
Don't underestimate +5 stats. An ordinary man would need to spend one or two months working out and eating food with superb nutritional balance just to gain +5 stat without a Level Up.
Getting that just from consuming one bean shows how incredible this item is.
The effect may be small with just one or two, but by ten or so, it should be noticeable enough.
I haven't got any more since that one time though!
None of the items in treasure chests I found was garbage, but neither are they usable enough for me and the girls.
Luck Attribute-sensei please get to work. I'm so done with mithril and adamantite already.
<<...Every single one of those items is a first-class goods that would net enough capital to live leisurely for several years. They are exactly what adventurers wish for.>>
But, not to us.
Well, I guess I do need to fund Julian's magic mines and tools, so it's not so bad.
Speaking of Julian, I gotta think about ordering another great hammer.
Can't believe Demon King broke that apart in just one hit. That strike would have popped my head open. Scary.
Why went out his way to snatch and crush my heart instead of going for my head anyway. Was he trying to give me time to suffer? That's just evil.
If I'm gonna make a new great hammer, I'd like it to be real sturdy.
The grip has got to be made of a metal tougher than adamantite. I can't swing with my full power with adamantite by this point.
But the only metals stronger than that are super rare ones like orichalcum or hihiirokane. Materials that only show up at the end of the game if this was an RPG.
...Let's put aside the grip for now. Can't do anything about stuff you can't get anyway. The ingots I got from cool uncle is too few. It's more realistic to find a replacement.
As for the hammer head... What do~.
Using the same material is just asking to be destroyed again by Demon King. We're gonna need something even sturdier.
But that was made from a Rank S Magic Beast mats. Does a mat sturdier than that even exist...?
Guess I gotta put it aside too. Huh wait, doesn't my weapon's future look bleak? What do.
...Guess I'm going back to the basic and fight bare handed again for now. And I really liked that great hammer too.
Diving deeper, I finally arrived at Floor 15.
It took me one whole day to get here. I'm told from here on, each floor is going to take me a day to traverse through, let's see how it goes. *Tremble*.
If an unforeseen accident were to take place on Floor 20 and I was forced to retreat, I would only have 4-5 days remaining until Demon King's Menu reboots.
As you can't Fast Travel into dungeon floors, reaching Floor 21 would be an impossibility. It's pretty much a checkmate.
There's a mysterious mechanism that disallows teleport magic and Fast Travel when you're near Demon King. You're out the moment he's going for you.
In order to avoid all that, I have to be extra careful as I make my way to Floor 21.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
A shrill sound echoed the moment I set foot on Floor 15.
...What's with this beeping. Eh, did I get caught in a trap!? Menu-san, what's going on!?
<<Kajikawa Hikaru did not get caught in a trap. However, a magic beast on this floor set off a summoning trap, causing a huge wave of magic beast to emerge.>>
Screw that! What the hell!
Eh, are you telling me the magic beasts in this dungeon are gonna start using traps from this floor on!?
<<Negative. It is estimated that there are simply too many traps, magic beasts frequently get caught in one.>>
So they're just self-destructing. Idiots.
...Wonder why these magic beasts even live on these dungeon floors.
<<Magic beasts naturally occur inside dungeons regardless of their will. In addition, magic beasts cannot leave dungeons on their own volition. Tamed beasts can, however.>>
Getting born in hell like this, the god of this world sure is cruel. I kinda sympathize.
Well, let's leave those sad magic beasts alone, and keep going.
...By the way, is it just me or is the ground shaking for a while now?
<<A group of sad magic beasts are pushing their way here to seek out Kajikawa Hikaru (prey).>>
I take it back! They're in no way sad! Don't come here! Die!
What do I do. Can I run in the opposite direction?
<<Inadvisable. The room in the opposite direction has a mechanism that bars anybody that has entered the room from leaving. Kajikawa Hikaru may be able to break out by destroying the walls, but it will consume an unnecessary amount of mana and stamina.>>
So, what should I do?
<<Killing every beast that comes this way is the most efficient method.>>
『Gurururu...!!』
『Gegyabababababa!!』
『Bavarururururu!』
...But most of them are over Lv 70 tho'.
With a few around Lv50s. You asking me to face this swarm of monsters?
<<It is estimated that the top monster here is Kajikawa Hikaru. It is a non-issue.>>
No it's not! It's nothing but issues! Fighting this swarm looks way more tiring than crushing walls!
I mean, Menu-san, can you not call me a monster like it's the most natural thing. I'm gonna cry.
Heck, haven't you been acting curtly ever since our little spats with Demon King, Menu-san? Is it just me?
<<It is advised to prioritize taking on the incoming magic beasts.>>
Ah, blatantly averting the topic. Yep, you're being curt alright~.
Can't be helped, guess I'll beat the crap outta these beasts.
Oh yeah, why are these beasts working together when they're all different species, weird.
『Ga... Va...』
『Ga... Gaffu...』
I managed to exterminate them all in about 30 minutes.
I was conversing my stamina and mana initially but once I was nearing a Level Up, I abandoned any discretion and went all out so it didn't take that long.
I converted my mana into stamina just before I leveled up and got it all back once I did. Succeeded pushing through with zero mana and stamina consumption.
But I'd run out of time if I tried to deal with every single raid.
It was easier than anticipated, but I should still strive toward avoiding needless conflicts.
<<There is a high chance of Kajikawa Hikaru experiencing a difficult time against deep floor bosses if he does not gain levels while traversing the dungeon. It is recommended to gain two levels on every floor at the very least.>>
Deep floor, bosses?
<<From Floor 15 down, one must win against a magic beast known as Floor Boss on each floor in order to go down a floor.>>
<<Floor 20 boss may host an upper Rank S beast, with the possibility of an even higher grade. At Kajikawa Hikaru's current state, his chance of victory is estimated at 50%.>>
Beyond Rank S, so like Oni-sensei? That's just impossible. There's no winning that no matter what I do.
Seems like I gotta keep leveling up until near the time limit while making my way down.
That reminds me, I haven't been bringing in meat to Oni-sensei for a while now, wonder if he's doing OK.
...I've got a bad feeling about it.

~~~~~~~~Ogre-senpai's POV~~~~~~~~
BomBOOOM!! A, an incredibly loud sound echoed in the mountains.
Another mountain has been erased. This land is going to turn into a wasteland if this keeps up unabated.
『Ga, garuu!!』
『Guru!』
We all have been trying to soothe boss to no avail.
His displeased face warped further as he went on an even more terrible rampage.
It's all that black haired man's fault.
That man came under boss's wings under the condition of him bringing 'human's fodder' every time he comes here.
He'd have been beaten to death if it weren't for that.
The fodder he brought was real good stuff.
Boss ate most of them, but I remember getting a bite and the euphoria that followed.
No wonder boss took a liking. I'd like to have another bite myself.
That black haired man hasn't shown up for the past few days, meaning no fodder.
Boss got in a foul mood, heck, he's been way outta our hands already!
Come here quickly, you black hair! All the magic beasts around these parts will go extinct if you don't!
No seriously, I'm begging you come quickly, we're all gonna die, hurry up!!
At this point of time, I had no idea black haired human wouldn't turn up for the next half a month.
It took him so long boss transformed around 30% of the mountains into a pile of rubble. I've had it with this boss.
