Kamisama no Kago wo Kyohishitara?! Chapter 547

547 Trade Area

"Eh? Weapon and meat stores? Are you for real? ...Uh, no, I'm not saying I won't get you there. Eh, ah, err."

The guide is looking at me dubiously.
Can't be helped. The person that looked like he needed a tour guide gave a completely unexpected request.
I would have acted the same if I were in his shoes.

"Follow me... Eh? You're looking to sell? Ah, you mean that way. Then the store over there should fit. I'll show you some interesting tourist spots along the way."

Thus, I trotted following the guide while keeping my guard up.
We came across normal tourist stuff like a statue of a gladiator holding a sword aloft, a water fountain, souvenir stores and such. There's nothing suspicious so far.

(Thing being mundane is good. Although... I'm scared of what's gonna come out later.)

Life is all about ups and downs. And my troubles come in waves.
When nothing seems to be happening, I'd get hit by big waves all of a sudden. The really furious ones.
There's nothing worrying going on thus far. It's going smoothly.

"Alright, there's a trade area just around that corner. They don't accept anything super pricey but they won't rip you off either. It's a solid trading place. Ah, they also accept meat there, you can finish everything in one place."

I was led to a huge three-story building called 'Integrated Trade Area'.
The entrance is a big double door. It must be made to let big things enter. You don't need a door that big to fit humans after all.

"Ah, that's the entrance for VIPs. Common folk go in here, over here."

The guide called out to me and showed another door tucked in the corner. The building overlapped so much with modern ones in my world, I missed it.
We got through that door. And I got taken aback.
It's like a, municipal office?, of some sort. All kinds of people are coming and going unceasingly.
I was dumbfounded. The guide called out to me from behind.

"Whaddya think? This place is the biggest trade area in this city, you see. Overwhelming, ain't it? Both the spaciousness and the amount of people inside. And that's not all. The total sum of money circulating in this one trade area everyday amounts too..."

"Ah, I don't need to know that. Tell me where should I go to do my business here."

The person who built this must have been born in this world with carried over 'Memories'.
Possessing such 'Knowledge' despite also having a Blessing.
If they hadn't, they would have been born with black hair and black eyes like me. As well as inhuman 'Godly Power'. Which would have caused a stir.
Yet, I never heard of stories depicting that. Not even a single rumor.
People would have acted differently toward me if such individuals were already around.
Meaning this world's god had made reincarnated people with controlled Blessings and released them into this world.
I'm sure of it. This world's god must have brought reincarnated people into this world along with such 'Memories' to reform the world.
It's that thing known as 'knowledge cheat'.

I interrupted the guide from mentioning the sum of money meant to surprise me and asked where I should go.
He shut his mouth looking unsatisfied and gave me the answer.

"You go to the table over there and get your queue ticket. As you wait for your turn, you fill in the form on what and how many stuff you want to sell over there and hand the form over to the staff once your turn comes around. Then you just gotta wait."

This first floor is quite big. The counter is as long as one train car. Each staff members is partitioned as they are busily doing their job. It's the very picture of a big municipal office. The ceiling is tall too, around three meters.
It's the second biggest building I've seen in this world, second only to castles.
There's no way you could have built something like this without precise calculations. Even with magic around, you need architectural technology and knowledge as well as many other school of disciplines to construct this sort of buildings.
I mean this building is made of concrete. Not piled up stones or wood.

(It doesn't feel real at all... Heck I'm getting nostalgic even.)

According to the guide, this building is a cutting edge architectural structure in this world.
This city had always have a trade area but it underwent a renovation just last year. The opening day also marked the day they broke all transaction records. On that day, the amount of cash flow was nearly thrice as high as the previous record.

(Almost feels like I'm back in my old world...)

I followed the procedure up to filling the form.
The paper provided looks to be made with printing tech. Every entry paper has the same neatly printed characters on them.

I wrote down the quantity of swords. I tried my hardest to recall the name of the bear I was trying to sell, which was Bearud, wrote down meat and leather. Then I wait.
